Services: I meet with expectant families usually two to three times before the birth. I am on-call for you (24 hours a day), at your 36 week date. I will come to your home during pre-labor, and then accompany you to your chosen place of birth. I will usually stay for 1 to 2 hours after the birth, until you are comfortable. I provide my families with information about the choices they, indeed, have surrounding their birth. I work as an integral part of your birth team and have much experience with hospital, birth center and home births. My specialty is massage for the childbearing year. I offer prenatal massage to my clients and massage techniques to enrich your birth experience. I believe in HypnoBirthing. I have used the technique myself, with my son Henry 4-03-04. When your mind is calm, your body is calm. I offer chilbirth education classes (private or group).

Qualifications: I am a DONA certified Birth Doula, a Licensed Massage Therapist, and a HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator. Currently, I am training to be a Registerd Nurse as well.

Personal notes: I am mom to my almost three year old son, and 2nd mom for our four teenagers. My life is full and good. I have a yearn to learn and am pursueing an RN degree, one step at a time. I am honoured to be a doula and a childbirth educator. Wisdom and empowerment always make for a better birth experience.
