2 PRENATAL VISITS - discuss your wishes and expectations; create or review your birth plan; comfort measures, labour positions and birth tool practice; personalized prenatal lesson(s).
CONTINUOUS LABOUR SUPPORT - from as early in labour as you feel you need me until 1-2 hours postpartum.
ASSISTANCE ESTABLISHING BREASTFEEDING - both immediately following the birth and at home 3-4 after the birth

Personal notes: I am actively involved in Edmonton's birthing community as a long time volunteer with The Association for Safe Alternatives in Childbirth (ASAC). I am the mother of 2 children, both born at home. Supporting women in childbirth, as a doula, is a stepping stone for me towards being a midwife.
