I am clinical social worker as well as a doula. In my private therapy practice I often work with women or couples around pregnancy, pregnancy loss, or infertility. I also treat survivors of sexual, physical or medical trauma.

Services: As a doula I routinely offer two to three pre-natal visits and generous phone or e-mail contact. I stay with the laboring woman from the moment she desires support, until she is settled with the baby and ready to be left alone. I work in local hospitals or in clients homes. Through my therapy practice I can also provide counseling for women who desire on-going support before, during and after pregnancy.

Qualifications: I am a licensed masters level Independent Social Worker and am one birth away from Labor Doula certification by CAPPA

Personal notes: I have been interested in pregnancy and birth as a healing and empowering phase of life for many years. I am thrilled, through the addition of this service to my practice, to have the opportunity to be with women during what is often a peak life experience.
