Services: I am currently offering doula services for births in March, April and May free of charge, because it will help me obtain my birth doula certification. When I am officially a Certified Doula (DONA), I will offer affordable services throughout southern New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Qualifications: I have completed all birth (labor) doula requirements and training through DONA International, and now I need to attend 3 births to obtain certification.

Personal notes: I am a former early childhood teacher and currently a stay-at-home mom. I have an amazing son who is 2 yrs. old and a wonderful, supportive husband. We live in Norton, Massachusetts, just north of Providence and south of Boston. We moved here from Keene, New Hampshire about a year and a half ago... a place that holds a special place in our hearts and we hope to return one day. I've had the desire to become involved with the birthing process in some capacity for many years now, but it wasn't until I had my son that I felt very strongly about it. I've been waiting for the right time to begin the birthing doula certification process, and this is it! I am committed to providing expectant women and their families with information and continuous support before, during and in the hours following childbirth. I believe a woman should birth her child in a way which feels right to her. My role is to support that decision and help create the best birth experience possible for all involved.
