Services: My services include an initial consultation to give you a chance to meet me and ask me questions. If you decide to hire me, I will meet with you for up to three prenatal visits, as well as accompany you to a doctor’s visit. I will be on-call starting two weeks before your due date. Once labor starts I will come to your home and assist you there and at the hospital. I will stay with you continuously through your labor and delivery, and immediately post-partum until you are settled in the hospital. I will meet with you at one post-partum visit a week to ten days after the baby is born to discuss the birth and any post-partum issues.

Personal notes: I have one beautiful baby girl who is eight months old. My birth experience with her did not go exactly as I had hoped, and I ended up having several medical interventions. My husband supported me during my labor, and while he was well-intentioned, he was very stressed out with having the sole responsibility of supporting me, and I found myself wishing that there was someone else there to guide us both through the experience. Ever since my daughter’s birth I have felt a strong draw towards supporting other women through this intense, life-changing event. As your birth doula, I will provide continuous physical, emotional, and informational support during your labor and delivery. I would like to help every woman attain the birth they desire.
