Services: I provide one on one service to all women who choose to have a doula at their birth. This includes at least two pre-natal visits, in which, I get to know you and your partner and discuss options for your birth plan.

I am on 24 hour call during your birth month (two weeks prior to and past your due date). I always have a back-up doula available in the event I am unable to attend your birth due to emergency, illness or my attending another birth.

I offer continuous support throughout your labor and birth and the early post-partum hours. I also provide knowledgable breastfeeding support for the weeks after birth. As well I provide at least one post-partum visit to see how your new family is doing and answer any questions you may have regarding your birth.

Qualifications: CD (DONA), CBE

Personal notes: I am a single mother of four children. All my children were born in hospital with the loving support of family and friends.

I am currently enrolled in the Douglas College Childbirth Educators certificate program and plan to have it completed by the end of 2002.
