Services: I will meet with you twice prior to your birth for education, birth planning and simply to become better aquainted. If you want me to I like to go with you to a prenatal visit with your Doctor. I will come to your home during labor, or meet you at the hospital. I'll stay with you throughtout labor and delivery giving support to you and your partner physically, emotionally and spiritually to give you the birth that you have defined. When you are laboring either naturally or medically, it is important to have a doula available who knows hospital procedures and can support your choices. After the birth I will help with breastfeeding and will check on your new family at two postpartum visits.

Qualifications: I am a Bradley childbirth educator/doula and am completing my training with DONA (doulas of N. America) I have given birth naturally to six children, 3 in the hospital and 3 at home and have caught several of my grandchildren. I've been working with pregnancy and birth since 1990 and have found it to be my passion.

Personal notes: I count it a priviledge to be a part of seeing a couple become a family and a woman become a mother. I never cease to be in awe of birth, and want every couple to experience that joy to the fullest.
