Services: Your consultation is always free. I will provide my services for hospital and home birth clients alike. I provide at least two informative prenatal visits, limited lending library, unlimited phone and e-mail support, birth plan counseling, complete attention throughout your birth and immediate postpartum period, postpartum home visit, and unlimited phone and e-mail breastfeeding support for as long as you breastfeed.
My postpartum services vary with need.
I also do BELLY CASTS and sell the Over the Shoulder Baby Holder.
Qualifications: I have completed my birth doula training through ALACE. I am currently working towards my certification. I presently rely on my life experiences for all postpartum work. I work as a breastfeeding peer counselor and I am an active member of our local La Leche League.
Personal notes: I have been married to my soul mate since high school. We have four lovely children. 2 natural vaginal births and 2 c-sections. All of our children have been breastfed until they outgrew the need. We practice attachment parenting including co-sleeping, baby wearing, and gentle discipline. We do our part to slow down the filling of land fills by cloth diapering.
