Services: In addition to up to three prenatal meetings in person, I am available to answer questions and provide information and support through e-mail and telephone conversations. I am happy to attend hospital, home, and birth center births.

Qualifications: I completed the labor support course at the Seattle Midwifery School (www.seattlemidwifery.org). I am in the process of meeting my doula certification requirements through the Pacific Association for Labor Support (PALS) and Doulas of North America (DONA).

Personal notes: I was born to a Greek immigrant family in originally from Boston, Massachusetts. Many years ago I acted as doula at my sister's (unmedicated) birth of her child and have been fascinated by pregnancy and birth ever since. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Harvard University, and an active interest in women's studies and health, anthropology, art, and child development. I worked in the high-tech field in Seattle for several years. I have one child.
