Services: Services include at least one pre-natal visit to get to know you. We will go over your birth plan and discuss various techniques and positions that may help you during labor.
Once contractions start, I will be at your side and help you labor at home and at the hospital or birthing center of your choice. i will stay with you continuously until the birth of your baby and help provide some initial post partum care auch as getting started with breastfeeding.
Finally, I will come for a postpartum visit to discuss the birth and any concerns you may have.
Qualifications: I took an intensive DONA-workshop and am in the process of being certified.In am willing to work on a volunteer basis.
Personal notes: I live in new york city and am close to many local hospitals. I also have experience with V-BAC.
Having gone through 2 births myself, I know how important it is to have good support during labor. I am excited to work with you and to help you and your partner have a meaningful experience.
