Services: I will meet with the expectant couple as many times as they need, until they feel comfortable with me and have a good understanding of what both of our roles are during the pregnancy and birth.

I am available by phone 24 hours a day to answer any questions.

I will be on call for the couple 24 hours a day beginning two weeks before the estimated due date (EDD) and ending two weeks after the EDD. This means that I will carry my pager with me at all times, and will not leave the Mount Washington Valley Area unless it is an emergency or an event known about at the time of the contract signing. I will help get breastfeeding off to a good start and support the Mom as much as she needs either in person or by phone.

Personal notes: I teach an eight week series of Natural Childbirth classes out of my home twice a week. I also started the local La Leche League group in the area and am available by phone for Moms with Breastfeeding questions. Attending births as a doula is my true passion.

I have two children, Devin age three who was born in a hospital with the support of a midwife, and Dakota, nine months, who was born at home peacfully into loving arms.

I feel that this profession found me. It is truly my calling in life. I enjoy what I do so much, and am so thankful to be able to offer these services to my community.
