Services: From two weeks prior to two weeks following your estimated date of delivery, I am on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to attend the birth of your child. In the event that I am unable to attend (due to some unforeseeable events such as major illness/injury, etc.), I will provide a seasoned back-up doula for your care.

Qualifications: I went through training in October of 2005 through Doulas of North America (D.O.N.A.). I am not yet certified through D.O.N.A., but will have met all of the qualifications with one more certifying birth. I have attended three births on my own, and have worked in tandem with another doula at two. I took a sabbatical from mid-June of 2006 until May of 2007 due the pregnancy and birth of my fourth child.

Personal notes: I am the proud mother of four beautiful children (two of whom are twins), a runner, and college student. The twins were born via cesarean section in 2002, but fortunately my last two children were born completely naturally in 2004 and 2006. I attribute my VBAC success to the support of my loving husband, my doulas, medical staff, and the inner strength I was somehow able to muster. I am an active member of New Day Christian Church in Estero, Florida, and I believe that all things are possible through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
