Services: We help with birth plans, provide avenues to find information on dietary concerns, attend doctor's visits if desired, attend labour and delivery, and offer follow-up visits at after mom and baby arrive home. We help the family to ensure there is a support system for mom from family and friends. We also give dad some tips on how to be effective in nurturing both mom and baby, and also discuss signs to watch for regarding post-partum depression.

Qualifications: We have both taken our doula training through Douglas College and between us have attended more than 30 births, all having very different but normal outcomes.

Personal notes: Since 1997, we have had on-going pre-natal/post-partum and breastfeeding education. This allows us to stay up-to-date in the fast pace of ever-changing attitudes and new information. It is with a combination of this and our own personal experiences, that we are able to share our knowledge and help others.
