Services: I provide a holistic and family approach to care as your midwifery trained doula. I offer preconception, prenatal and postpartum visits as desired providing evidence-based information to compliment your medical care. I will assist you at home, birth center or hospital when in labor and assist you with your recovery and feeding your baby. It is my purpose to provide you with the best information and advise for the healthiest pregnancy and successful birth experience. Choosing to have a "Midwifery Assisted Birth" will provide you with the personalized care that you desire, but can not find in a doctor's office, without forfeiting your medical care.

Qualifications: Childbirth Educator, Certified Nurse-Midwife, LC and mother of 5. I am experienced and comfortable with all preferences for birthing and their settings. This includes homebirth, birth center and hospital births. I am also experienced with high risk pregnancies and their prenatal, postpartum and birth needs.

Personal notes: I have been "called" to care for birthing women for almost 20 years now. Birthing my own children naturally and wonderfully under my own power illuminated the miracle that birth truly is. I grew to believe that other women, like myself have this same wellspring of strength and ability. I simply wanted to be there in that place to share this truth. I reside in Central Massachusetts where the medical community currently does not support a midwifery service. I, therefore, have chosen to offer a midwifery service as close to a full service as my license will permit. I would be so honored to attend your birth - your miracle.
