Personal notes: I believe that the support of another experienced woman can improve almost any birth, whether natural or highly interventive. I work with partners/husbands to improve their experience of the birth as well. I am also a big believer in prenatal preparation -- educational, physical, nutritional, and emotional. The more you know about your upcoming birth, the less anxious you will be and the better your experience will be!
