Services: Birth, nursing, and parenting skills blossom under positive conditions. My goal is to provide the information and support you need to have the best possible beginning.
This includes prenatal visits to prepare a birth preferences letter, childbirth classes, labor support, and breastfeeding support.
I have worked with single moms, birth moms, first time moms, and even a mom deliverying her 9th and 10th babies!
Qualifications: Labor doula training from DONA 2001; Postpartum doula training from CAPPA 2002; Childbirth educator training from CAPPA 2002
Personal notes: As a mother of six sons, I have quite a few years of personal experience. My boys were all born naturally and nursed for 12-18 months. Nursing premature twins was a challenge and perhaps my greatest mothering victory.
I believe women's bodies are designed to nurture children; however, I understand the stumbling blocks many of us face. Over the years many midwives, nurses, and sisters in Christ have blessed me with their kindness. Now I feel priveleged to share my experience and training with other women.
