Services: My Doula Birth Package Includes:
Two or three prenatal visits to become acquainted, discuss your pregnancy, birth plan and any other questions or concerns you and your partner may have.
24-hour on-call service from four weeks before your due date until 48 hours after delivery
Early labor support in your home
Ongoing support for you and your partner throughout labor and delivery
Postpartum support and breastfeeding assistance (usually one to two hours) immediately after birth
One postpartum visit in your home to discuss your birth and assist you with any feeding or parenting issues
Referrals for additional pregnancy and postpartum support such as breastfeeding assistance and newborn care

Qualifications: Currently working towards certification with DONA.
Personal notes: Since I was a little girl I've been fascinated by pregnancy and birth. While researching birth options during my second pregnancy I learned about doulas and the support and guidance they provide to women and their partners during labor and childbirth. I decided then and there to begin the certification process with DONA as a birth doula. My philosophy centers on the belief that every woman has the right to choose how and where to bring her baby into the world.
