Services: If you want to meet and discuss working together, we would start with an initial consultation, when we would decide if we are comfortable with each other. Then I could meet with you to discuss your concerns, fears, preferences and experiences concerning your upcoming birth, as well as discuss videos, information, birth positions, pain medications and natural coping mechanisms for labor, and attend prenatal doctor visits and childbirth classes with you too. I would also be available to talk on the phone any time about whatever subjects you wish to discuss.

Qualifications: I am a Dona approved doula, trained to provide loving, encouraging support for you, your partner and your family during pregnancy, labor and postpartum, including breastfeeding. I will not leave you until you are comfortable, baby has breastfed and I am no longer needed. I am also studying infant massage, and will take pictures for you and write your baby's birth story.

Personal notes: I am an at-home mom of two wonderful children, one birth with medical intervention and one without. I believe in women's strength, resilience and unbelieveable courage to do whatever it takes to birth and care for their children. I also believe in their bodies' natural ability to birth babies of all sizes, if given enough time and the right support. I am located in Bloomington but serve most of the metro area.
