Services: I am a caring, attentive person who can provide many healing modalities such as massage, herbal remedies, and aromatherapy to name a few. My services also include: 24h on all labor support, continuous companionship for labor and birth, and postpartum services including breastfeeding support. I also provide a free, first time consultation meeting.
Qualifications: I believe that the birth of a child is one of the most powerful experiences a woman will have in her life. I feel that if a woman is encouraged, supported, empowered and informed she will make decisions about her labor and birth which she will feel positive about whether she has a medicated birth or one with no interventions. I believe that birth is a natural process and that women innately know what they need and how to give birth. I have over a decade of knowledge and experience working with women and women's health. As a doula, I provide emotional, physical and informational support throughout pregnancy and labor. During the three prenatal meetings I tailor my services by reviewing the needs of the pregnant woman. These services include: exercise, nutrition, positions for labor, preparing the perineum, going over hospital protocols, pain relief, and assessing any emotional issues that might arise or influence the birth.
