Services: Labor Support includes:
-Two prenatal visits
-24 hour on-call for two weeks before the due date and till mother goes into labor
-Labor support at home and/or at the hospital
-One postpartum visit
-Birth story
Postpartum Care includes:
-Mother and baby care -- breastfeeding, postpartum healing of mother
-Errands
-Light housekeeping
-Specializing in postpartum foods for mother and also regular meal preparation
Qualifications: I received my doula training from the Holistic Midwifery Institute in Ann Arbor. I am also studying Indian style infant massage.
Personal notes: I am the mother of a three-year old. I have worked for three years with children of all ages. I have also researched and studied the importance of postpartum diet of mother to aid in faster healing.
