Services:

My services include an initial introduction meeting, then once hired 1 prenatal visit at which we will discuss the birth plan and birthing expectations. I am on call 24 hours a day 1 week prior to the due date. Once labor begins I am with the mother continuously through the birth and up to 2-4 hours post birth. I also include 1 post partum visit about 6-10 days after the birth. I offer breastfeeding help and postpartum information

Qualifications:

In 2005 I was CAPPA trained, Just recently I also became DONA trained. I have attended births of all different natures. I feel that each and every birth needs some sort of support and as a Doula it is my job to offer that to any and all woman and each of their birthing situations

Personal notes: I feel that each and every birth is different, it is never something that can become routine. I set no boundries in my practice. Birth is a beautiful process yet it has a mind of its own, and goes much smoother when aproached this way. My goal is to support the mother in any way that I can. I share as much knowledge and resources as possible so that the mother can make each decision about her birth with no reservations.
