Personal notes: My name is shelly and I have had 3 birthing experiences. My 1st was an 18 week stillborn with a doctor.  My 2nd was I had server toxcemia and my 3rd was with a midwife. I believe if I had a doula I would not have to introduce myself to every time the hospital had a shift change my doula would have been their from beginning to end for me and my husband.  This is why I became a birth doula and a berevement doula so no one would have to go through what I did.
