Services: I provide one to two prenatal visits to become acquainted with the expecting mother and partner, and also to become familiar with their preferences for their birthing experience. I offer support throughout the laboring and birthing of your child wherever you feel most comfortable doing so, be it in the hospital or at home with a midwife. I also provide one to two postpartum support visits depending on your preference.
Qualifications: I have completed all trainings for a birthing Doula through DONA (Doulas of North America), and am currently in the final stages of acquiring my certification. Some techniques I can offer for your birth experience include, but are not limited to, breathing techniques, positioning, massage, the birth ball, visualization, and water birthing. I am also open to any techniques that will help make your experience as comfortable and effortless as possible.
Personal notes: I have a lot of experience with, and am very excited about, the birthing process. I understand the feelings and emotions you are going through during this amazing time of pregnancy and bringing your child into the world.
