Services: I normally have 2-3 prenatal meetings to get to know you and answer any questions you may have. Including birth plans, questions about birth, and previous birth experiences. I am on call 24/7 until about 6 weeks after the birth. I am available for help with breastfeeding. I teach childbirth education on an individual basis if needed.
Qualifications: I attended a weekend intensive doula training through DONA in '02. I attended a childbirth educator intensive training through ICEA. I worked with a midwife as an apprientice in '05. I have attended various birth and midwifery confrences. I am currently a student midwife.
Personal notes: I have been a doula for 5 years now. I am a mother of three beautiful children one born in the hospital, two at home, one was a waterbirth. I enjoy learning about birth, reading and knitting.
