Services: After our initial meeting I will provide:

Two pre-natal visits
Unlimited phone calls
24-hour on-call access as the due date approaches
Non-stop support during labor and birth starting as early on as you choose--including reassurance and perspective for you and your partner, suggestions for labor progress, help with relaxation, massage, positioning and other comfort measures
Two hours with you after the baby is born including help with breast feeding if wanted
A follow-up visit
A birth log with the highlights of the entire experience.

Qualifications: Trained by Doulas of North America. Nearly 20 years experience with various kinds of personal coaching and counseling. M.S. from Loyola University Chicago.

Personal notes: I have a 19-year old daughter whose birth is still as vivid and magical as if it had happened yesterday... I have been fascinated and awed by birth since I was a baby myself.
