Each birth experience is unique and unpredictable, but as you gaze into your newborn’s eyes and recall the experience, you deserve to be satisfied that you made the best choices for your family. Having a doula by your side will empower and inform you and your partner to make those choices, and to have a beautiful birth that is as natural as you desire and as nature allows. Services include:
- Up to 3 prenatal visits to get to know each other and review your birth preferences
- Prenatal phone support (because the process of childbirth starts at conception!)
- Physical (non-medical) support including beneficial positioning, massage, and trained techniques
- Emotional birth support utilizing comforting, affirming, and relaxation techniques – involving your partner as much as possible – not replacing them!
- Postpartum support and visit to review your experience.
Qualifications: Trained through Academy of Certified Birth Educators and Birth Doulas. Extensive independent book studies, including Prenatal Care and Breastfeeding. I am experienced with hypnobirthing, and feel many of these techniques can be very helpful and easily adapted into your birth experience if desired.
Personal notes: I am a happily married Mother of three of my own miracles – a son (age 9), and two daughters (ages 3 and 1 1/2).
