Services: Labor support -- includes an initial face to face meeting, a minimum of one prenatal visit, continuous labor support from the point in labor when you ask me to come, initial breastfeeding assistance, a minimum of one postpartum meeting, and a written birth story as a keepsake.

Other services -- I also offer pregnant belly masking/casting and henna body painting for interested clients.

Qualifications: I received training through Seattle Midwifery School's labor support course. I began practicing as a doula in 1999 and (as of 12/02) have attended over 50 births in various settings. I am a childbirth, lactation and early parenting educator at a local hospital.

Personal notes: I am the mother of two fabulous children. I believe that every family deserves the assistance of a doula during one of the most important events of their lives. My focus is on helping parents become informed and prepared for the birth of their child(ren) and assisting them in making decisions that are the best for their family. I enjoy sharing my passion with the families I serve.
