My name is Jessica Truax, and I started working as a doula in September of 2000. Helping mothers through labor and postpartum is something I feel very passionate about. This is a very special time in your life that I would be honored to be a part of.

Services: Birth Doula Support:
I provide two prenatal visits, not including initial interview, as time permits. I attend the birth and help initiate breastfeeding, if the mother so chooses. I also provide phone support from the time I am hired, and one postnatal visit.
Postpartum Doula Support:
I provide services both day and night. I care for the baby and perform light house cleaning.
Qualifications: DONA-approved childbirth education training, and birth doula training. Will be DONA-certified in January of 2003.
Personal notes: I have three beautiful children named Andrew, Ethan, and Lydia, and a wonderful husband. I am have been a stay-at-home mom since the birth of my first child, Andrew in 1999. Our family lives in Vancouver Washington and we have lived in this area for over six years.
