Services: Cherished Tymes Doula Services offers assistance and education in prenatal preparation for many different situations. This includes information on birth options, related experience with VBAC, multiples, mood and anxiety disorders, and previous loss, among others.

Qualifications: As a Birth Companion and birth doula in the Ottawa, ON area for over fourteen years I have attended over 300 births. This involves both home and hospital births at all of the Ottawa area hospitals. I am also a Certified Infant Massage Instructor, teaching private and small group classes to those involved with babies between three weeks and six months of age.

Personal notes: As a mother of four grown offspring, I welcome the opportunity to discuss the changing ideas and needs related to birth and postpartum with those in the early stages of developing families. As an executive of the local doula association, Comfort and Joy Doula Assoc. I also take an active role in the community for promoting the role of doulas and the benefits of having doulas at births. Above all, I love being a doula - helping parents-to-be at this very special time .
