Services: As I am currently completing DONA certification, all birth doula fees in the Nanaimo, Duncan, and Gabriola Island area are FREE! I provide two prenatal visits for us to get to know each other, as well as unlimited phone contact. I will stay with you throughout the birth and for the first few hours following or until you are comfortable and ready to spend time together as a new family. I will visit you within the week following the birth to go over your birth with you and fill in any blanks you may have as well as answering any questions. I am available to provide breastfeeding support as needed as well as postpartum care.

Qualifications: I am a certified breastfeeding counselor and have completed two different doula training workshops as well as childbirth education classes. I have spent the last two years educating myself of the physiological and emotional processes of birth and have a keen drive to serve women and their families during the childbearing period. I am also the mother of two sons.
