I was a Presbyterian Doula, they had a Doula Program.... I worked in Labor & Delivery as a doula and Mother Baby-Care Unit and I helped as a doula in the NICU; helping mom's when babies could breastfeed, helping moms get to see their babies and bonding, supporting families in this difficult time in their lives.
Personal notes: Personal notes: I have 4 kids ( 2 girls 2 boys ) I have 5 grand-kids. We have a big family. I have always wanted to be a doula. My mom died when I was young so I help raise my sisters. I was there when they had their kids. I was a foster parent for a while. Then I started a Daycare Raggedy Ann & Andy and I have taken care of a lot of babies in those 12 years. But my goal was to become a Doula and now I am making my dream come true. I do not regret what I have done. I treasure those years, being apart of so many peoples life. I am going to be the best doula, childbirth educator, and lactation educator, educating you on childbirth ... informing you of your choices ... empowering you to set forth your goals ( for the birth you want) because this is your birth and you deserve to have it ...... because to me MOMMIE'S MATTER
