Services:

I provide private, one on one, in home pregnancy, labor & childbirth support and preparation during 4 prenatal visits.  I also cover alternative birth settings & birth plan counseling, breastfeeding prep and support, and positions for childbirth.

I am on call 24/7 for you and your family during the 2 weeks before & after the birth of your baby.

 I offer continuous physical, emotional and informational support before, during and after Childbirth.  I remain for 2 hrs. after the birth to ensure that things are going well and to answer any questions.

Qualifications: I received my doula training through DONA.  I am one birth away from being certified.  I am taking my postpartum doula training with CAPPA.  I am training to be a Childbirth Educator, with ALACE and CAPPA.  I am a member of the Le Leche League, DONA(Doulas of North America, DoulaCARE.  I am trained in Hypnobirthing.  I am also working on my Midwifery.  I have attended a number of workshops to continue learning and have plans to attend several more in the near future.

Personal notes:

I am the mother of three children; ranging in age from 23yrs to 7yrs.  My personal birth experiences are varied; my 1st child was a c-section, my second a VBac, natural birth, and my third was a VBac, invitro, all natural childbirth.   I breastfeed two of my children. I have attended 12 births in my career as a doula and all were different in some way or the other. 

No birth is the same.  I believe that every women deserves a doula, no matter their circumstances.
