I was a Doula for many years before I knew there was a name for what I was doing. I just knew it was my calling to assist Moms in labor and help them have the birth experience that they truly wanted.

Services: I provide at least two prenatal visits, full labor support either at home or in the hospital, postpartum support until breastfeeding is well established, and at least one post partum visit three days to two weeks depending on family support. I do have a network of Doulas to provide back up if necessary. I also offer Mom a one hour body massage in her home either prenatal or post partum.

Qualifications: I am in process of getting my DONA certification after being a Doula for 20+ years. I am also a Licensed Massage Therapist in Reno and Sparks.

Personal notes: I had both of my children with little support from their father or nurses and I want to give new Moms the support that was unavailable to me. I have assisted with the birth of each of my six grandchildren and many other births. I also do prenatal massage and therapeutic massage at Falling Waters Healing Spa in Reno.
